Review of Gunmetal Blues " ...Joseph Mulholland plays only Galahad, not as easy a task as it sounds. Mulholland has a pleasant voice and does his best to infuse his songs with a smoky, smooth timbre that one expects from a trench-coated gumshoe. Having the character burst into song is awkward, as traditionally the private eye speaks sparingly, and what he says is usually a threat or a caustic comment. Mulholland achieves polished transitions from narrative to song. He is on target as a hard-drinking, chain-smoking Bogey wannabe. With Mulholland on the case, Galahad's sarcastic wit and weakness for a pretty dame come through loud and clear...." Cynthia O. Topps

"I've worked with Joe Mulholland since he was 15 years old. He has talent, most definitely, but he also has drive, passion, and vision for himself and for the world of theatre. Joe is one of my heroes. He is following his bliss, which is what actors are suppose to do. Joe Mulholland will be a superb part of any endeavor-stage or screen. He is versatile, he is kind, he is wonderful to work with. Talent, heart and drive." Liz Kendall
"Working
with Joe to prepare his audition material is always rewarding.
Joe succeeds so well in finding new aspects of himself as an
actor, rather than just settling for what is comfortable. It
is refreshing to see a young actor constantly honing his craft
and challenging himself to expand his parameters in this field."
"Joseph has always been a pleasure to work with. His positive attitude and willingness to take risks make him a leader among his fellow company members." -- David A Loranca, AEA Stage Manager
